About the accommodation
Lounge & Kitchen Area
In the living area there’s an open plan kitchen so you don’t miss out on any fun whilst cooking and we’re confident you’ll find enough crockery and utensils for all the family, whether you’re serving up a salad to eat outdoors or cooking your Christmas dinner! We’ve also provided some bits for the kids and the dogs. There’s a full size oven and hob, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster and microwave provided. In the lounge, there’s a large corner sofa that doubles up as a bed settee (please let us know if you need bedding), there’s a SMART TV, Alexa and log effect electric fire as well as plenty of comfy cushions and cosy blankets. The heating is thermostatically controlled by a pre programmed Nest which can be adjusted to suit you!
Bedrooms & En suite
We have 2 bedrooms, one king size with a Simba mattress and good quality bedding to make sure you have the best sleep possible, a double wardrobe and drawers with plenty of hangers and a rescue pack containing those essential items you may have forgotten to pack. A dressing table and mirror and bedside tables with touch controlled lamps as well as an en-suite wc. The twin room has two small single beds, a single wardrobe and a mirror. The main bathroom has a power shower which you can control to your perfect temperature and plenty of fresh towels.
Outside the lodge
There’s a patio at the back with large picnic table positioned to make the most of the sun. We also have a couple of bistro sets that you can easily move to catch the early morning or late evening sun and a good choice of outdoor games such as archery and boules
Lido Leisure Park
The Lido site is set in acres of woodland and has the River Nidd winding through it, perfect for walkers and wild swimmers. You can walk along the river into Knaresborough where you’ll find a host of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops as well as the market. On site we have a children’s play park, a cafe by the river, a dog friendly bar and restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. There’s a small shop and launderette too. Outside the site is the St James retail park with M&S food store and other shops as well as a McDonald’s! There’s also a bus stop nearby with regular buses into Harrogate and Knaresborough, plus a great swimming pool nearby with slides and Jacuzzis. Lots of the local takeaways will deliver straight to your caravan too. The site is just off the A59 so it’s perfect to explore the surrounding Areas of York, Harrogate and Wetherby.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are towels provided?
Yes, they are. All linen including bedding(with the exception of cot bedding) towels tea towels and dishcloths are provided as are loo rolls
Do we need to bring washing up liquid?
No, we have washing up liquid, kitchen roll and dishcloths there for you.
Do you have a travel cot and high chair?
Yes, we do. You’ll need to bring bedding for the travel cot
Is there anywhere to sit outside?
Yes, we have a patio and table at the back of the caravan. It’s a lovely sun trap! We also have 2 bistro sets that you can move around to catch the last rays
Can we have a BBQ?
No. BBQs are strictly not allowed due to the quantity of gas bottles on site.
Is there a hairdryer?
Yes
Can we bring two cars?
Yes, there’s only parking for one car at the caravan but there is additional parking on site. Reception will advise of the best place to park when you arrive.
How do I check in?
You will receive everything you need for a smooth check in 1 week before arrival.
There is a key safe on the deck area for the key and you need to visit reception to register on site.
Are there any shops nearby?
St James Retail Park is opposite the caravan site with an M&S food store and many popular retail outlets. Lidl and Aldi are both under a 5 minute drive away as well.
Are you allowed to bring your dog?
Yes you can, we love dogs. If you’re bringing your dog, don’t worry, we’ve thought of them too! We’ve got blankets for the sofa, water and food bowls for them and we’ve also a little welcome gift for them too.
Do you have to pay for parking?
There is parking for one car outside the caravan. Additional cars can be parked at reception.
Is there any possibilities of buying a lodge on the site?
Absolutely, pop into the reception and speak to the friendly staff here.

Hi I’m Sam, and I’m co-owner of Pepper Pot Lodge with my husband Mike.
When we bought Pepper Pot Lodge we wanted to provide guests with a first class holiday experience. We did lots of research into what made a good accommodation a great one and have strived to do just that.
